Muntons

Products Made By Muntons

Muntons are a commercial maltster at Stowmarket in Suffolk, supplying malt to breweries all over the world. They produce beer kits and other brewing products under their own name, and also brew several brewery-badged ranges under licence — including Woodfordes, St Peter's and Geordie.

Worth knowing: a kit being made by Muntons does not mean it is made to the same standard as the ones carrying the Muntons logo. Quality (and price) varies from range to range, from the budget Geordie cans up to the Flagship kits.

Muntons' own-brand beer kit ranges are:

• Muntons Flagship Range (3kg kits with hop pellets)
• Muntons Gold Range (3.0kg kits)
• Muntons Connoisseurs Range (1.8kg kits)

If you remember the old Muntons Premium Gold kits: that range was replaced by Muntons Handcrafted, which has itself given way to the current Flagship range at the top of the tree.
