Four Festival kit boxes on a wooden bench: three black Premium Ale boxes with pump-clip crests and brass beer engines — Golden Stag, Razorback IPA and Summer Glory — beside the navy World Beers American IPA box with a bottle and stemmed glass.

Festival sits at the premium end of our beer kits. Each box carries 3–4kg of malt extract, so no sugar is needed, and every beer names its own hop pellet additions on the box — late and dry hop — for 40 pints of full-bodied beer.

The brand runs two ranges: Premium Ale, English styles under a pump-clip crest, and World Beers, styles from further afield in a navy box. The full range takes in porters, bitters and strong ales that come and go with stock; the kits we have at the moment:

  • Golden Stag Golden Ale — crisp golden ale with tropical fruit and citrus from Cascade and Columbus. 4.5%
  • Razorback IPA — Simcoe, Centennial and Summit; pine and fruit punch with a dry bitter finish. 5.7%
  • Summer Glory Golden Ale — Crystal and Cascade with dried elderflowers in the box; floral, with citrus overtones. 5%
  • American IPA (World Beers) — vibrant gold with a big citrus aroma; Centennial, Citra and Motueka. 5.6%
